Dr Harun Hussain

is the principal dentist at Oaklands Dental and graduated from the University of Leeds in 2015. Dr Hussain has a particular interest cosmetic dentistry and has completed a 1 year programme in advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry with the pre-eminent Dr Chris Orr in London. He has also more recently embarked upon a post graduate diploma in dental implant and reconstructive surgery.

Dr Haider Malik

Dr Haider Malik graduated from the University of Sheffield and grew up locally in the Huddersfield area. Dr Malik is keen to develop further as a dentist so that he can continue providing care for patients. He has been on several courses to provide cosmetic treatment options as well as recently being accepted on to an Implants Masters Degree which he hopes to start this year in order to eventually provide implants for patients.Outside of dentistry Haider enjoys playing regular 6-a-side football, as well as travelling and eating out with his family and friends which could be considered his main hobby!

Faaiqa Hussain

Faaiqa graduated with an honors degree in Dental Hygiene and Therapy in 2018 and was awarded with the British Association of Dental Therapy Prize. Faaiqa provides hygienist and therapist services at the practice. She is currently carrying out further training and studying the Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University Of Central Lancashire. Fun Fact about Faaiqa is in her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is a huge foodie!

Deborah Mansell

Debs qualified as a Dental Hygienist at Sheffield Dental Hospital in 1985. She has worked in both hospital and general practice. Her role in practice is to provide preventative Dental Care, helping patients to improve their dental hygiene and treat gum disease.Outside her dental work she enjoys family time. Taking care of her horses, and walking.

Mrs Faeeza Khan

Faeeza graduated in December 2018 from Leeds Dental University with a diploma in dental hygiene and therapy. Faeeza joined Oakland Dental in June 2023, she works in both the private and NHS sector and thoroughly enjoys it. She has a growing passion in therapy and wishes to pursue that by offering cosmetic treatments. Away from dentistry she has her own aesthetic and well-being business, therefore delivering holistic care plans to patients is a great strength. In her spare time Faeeza loves spending quality time with her young toddler and travelling.

Adiba Ahmed

Adiba is our head dental nurse with years of experience in medical care. Aspiring to become a Hygienist/Therapist and currently studying to achieve this.

Faria Khalid

A trainee dental nurse, who joined the team in 2021. Faria is aspiring to become a fully qualified dental nurse and is currently doing a great job in our dental nurse team and is enjoying learning and treating every patient she can.

Rabia Nadeem

Rabia is a member of our dental nurse a trainee dental nurse who joined the team in 2020 as part of her apprenticeship program. Rabia is aspiring to complete her studies in dentistry and is currently doing a great job in our dental nurse team and is enjoying learning and treating every patient she can.

Dr Aslam Khan

Doctor Aslam Khan graduated from the University of Liverpool and has specialised in implants and dental treatments and is now a qualified implantologist. He successfully runs and owns his own practice.

Freya Cairns

Freya is the newest member to the team, Who has joined as a trainee dental nurse as part of her apprenticeship program who also loves helping patients at reception.

Julie Dawson

Julie is our practice manager offering a warm and welcoming smile to our patients at the front of house. She has been working part of the team for 15+ years.
